About the Role

Digital offers local government extensive opportunities to deliver efficient and effective services that meet increasingly demanding citizen expectations in an ever changing technology, data and security world, but it needs to be approached from a broad range of aspects of the organisation including changing organisational culture, redesigning services from the customer perspective, changing organisation policies and procedures, improving skills, collaborating, making better use of organisational data, and taking effective advantage of current and emerging technology.  It cuts across every aspect of a council and must be addressed from a corporate and political level across policy areas if real change is to be realised.

The Admin and Finance Officer plays a key role in supporting the digital team to coordinate project activities, facilitate effective project management processes, and provide administrative, governance and financial support. This role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively.
