Friday, 03 October 2025

Following the horrific terrorist attack in Manchester, Councillor Andrew Morgan OBE, WLGA Leader said:

“We are deeply shocked and saddened by the horrific attack that took place this week in Manchester. The thoughts of the Welsh local government family are with the victims, their families, and the entire Jewish community at this time of profound grief and fear.

“Councils in Wales are united in condemning this act of terror. We reaffirm our unwavering commitment to promoting mutual respect, inclusivity, and community cohesion.

“Hatred has no place in our communities. We must all work together to ensure that every person – regardless of faith, background, or identity – feels safe, respected, and valued.
