Salary: Grade 5 SCP 33 to 41 (£36,922 to £44,863 pa) (2021 national pay award pending)

About the Role
This is a great opportunity to join a well respected organisation which strives to give local government in Wales a strong voice at a national level.
This role will provide you with an opportunity to lead a small internal HR function, supporting a workforce of circa 80 staff and playing a key role in shaping the organisation as it emerges from the covid emergency period. You will be supported by an Assistant HR Officer.
You will also assist the Head of Workforce & Executive Business Manager to support the WLGA’s member authorities in relation to a range of mostly strategic workforce issues, working nationally in social partnership with trade unions and Welsh Government officials and Ministers.
We are looking for an experienced HR generalist with sound HR skills, knowledge and experience who is able to deal with a wide range of day to day, strategic and project-related HR and workforce challenges within a predominantly professional environment.
